Live Streaming
Kavarii offers a distributed livestream giving any user the ability to Go Live! Users have the option of mobile, desktop and screen-share streaming so they can connect directly with their fans.
All you need to go live is to be connected thru the Maiar connect and have a created channel on Kavarii.

Kavarii Streams allows users to select the video resolution to stream in. We offer 3 different resolutions.
- 1080p (High Resolution for high performance devices)
- 720p
- 480p
Make sure you select the right resolution to match your devices performance capabilities.
Kavarii tries to be as limitless as possible to give users complete creative freedom, but there are some restrictions on the type of content that can be streamed. Same as uploading a Video NFT, users need to abide by the law when streaming content.
Content that is NOT allowed is as follows:
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)
- Hate Speech
- Commercial scams
- Breaches of intellectual property rights
- Child grooming activities
- Harassment or cyberbullying
Any user caught streaming any illegal content will not only be blocked from using the Kavarii platform but reported to the authorities depending on the severity of the action.
Since the streams are peer-2-peer it is difficult to censor content, and that's not something Kavarii wants to do but in extreme cases of violation the community abuse program can report videos to be taken down. If the infraction is bad enough, your account can be permanently banned from the platform.
Kavarii allows for all the standard features as uploaded content. Users can Like, Report, Dislike, Tip, and Subscribe to your channel. Features were implemented and designed but the team at https://livepeer.studio/ . Kavarii will never store any of your chats in a database, rather they stream directly in the browser between users.
To start a live stream users will have to select the resolution type and which type of stream they would like to start. Other than resolution, the options are as follows:
- Camera Source (Pick which camera to use)
- Type of Stream (Single Camera or Picture in Picture Screen-Share)
To do a screen share you can select either a specific browser window to stream or the entire browser so you can flip between tabs during the stream. You will also need a camera setup as it is setup to show the picture of you in the lower corner as a picture in picture. This is mainly used for trade analysis, gaming, and tutorial videos but there's no limit to what you can use it for.
To do a single-camera stream, all you need is to select the desired camera to use and it will be displayed fully for the stream. This is great for mobile streaming or if you want to have a conversation with your fans. Or even capture the next great event like UFO sightings!
Now that the settings and stream type are set, the next step is to give your stream a good title and description. This is used to help users find out what the stream is about but also to help them find relevant streams to what they are searching for.
Kavarii gives users the option to make a stream public or private, depending on what it is you are streaming.
A public stream can be displayed on the kavarii Home Page so all users on the platform can be exposed to it. But, be cautious. If you are streaming a category like NSFW or Nudes you CANNOT make the stream public. When you launch a stream you will be asked to set a category, which by default the NSFW and other R rated categories will not be made public. If you mis-categorize your video as Rated G and show illicit content you can get banned. We understand accidents happen and will be somewhat forgiving but multiple offenses will definitely get you in hot water with the community abuse program.
Public streams can be searched for and will be displayed in the Live Category throughout the platform, whereas the private streams will not. You as the creator will get a shareable link once the stream starts that you can share privately with whom ever you wish to join. This allows users to have a more intimate following and not worry about the wrong users viewing your content. You could also use the private streams as a paid content section, where users would have to pay to get the private links. Kavarii will add this built in feature in the future so stay tuned!
